Camouflage has the effect of making an object disappear or appear to be something else. The symbolism is therefore of information deliberately hidden or occluded.

We hide – both from ourselves and others – those aspects of our personalities with which we cannot deal. This is a defensive mechanism which when highlighted in dreams, needs to be considered very carefully.
