Courtyard – in dreams, the courtyard is a place of refuge, if only transitory at times, and often the shape will be relevant. A square courtyard would focus on physical or material concerns for instance – perhaps the manifestation of spiritual energy in a difficult situation (see Shapes / Patterns).
