Spiritual Meaning:
A crown signifies a change into a different level of awareness, victory over death and a recognition of status. The diadem, the forerunner of the crown,  was initially a simple white ribbon, ending in a knot and two stripes that were placed on the shoulders, that surrounded the head of the king to denote his authority. It signified being bound to his spiritual task.

Psychological / Emotional Perspective:
We may have striven for something and our greatest victory has been against our own inertia. The crown can represent dedication, particularly to duty. It suggests the attainment of knowledge. When a crown is highly decorated we acknowledge our past attainments.

Everyday Material Aspects:
To dream of a crown is to acknowledge our own success, and to recognize that we have opportunities that will expand our knowledge and awareness.  We may be about to receive recognition or a reward of some sort.
