Spiritual Meaning:
Interestingly, rushes or reeds are an ancient symbol of Time. In both spiritual work and dreams, time and space are interchangeable. Thus, if we use our space successfully then we also use time properly. If we are rushing we do not see the best of our world.

Psychological / Emotional Perspective:
We need to learn how to manage time successfully in order to succeed, and to be rushing suggests that we have not done so.

Everyday Material Aspects:
To be in a rush suggests that we are having to contend with outside pressures. To be rushing suggests that we ourselves are putting the pressure on. The pressure would be on our time.
