Why don't my fingers have crescents?
The scientific name of "Crescent Moon" we usually refer to is a half moon. Healthy people have a moderate size. People with a smaller or missing nail half moon generally have poor digestive function and are relatively weak and fatigue easily. Nails are a barometer of good health. Normal nails are rosy, curved, smooth and shiny, and the nails at the base of the nails are grayish white.
From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, if the crescents on a person’s fingernails have a large curvature and good gloss, it indicates that the person’s blood is abundant; if the crescents become smaller or disappear gradually, it means that the blood of the human body has declined and the physical condition is not as good as before. Traditional Chinese medicine does have records that can judge whether a person's heart function is good through the white crescent. Chinese medicine believes that the liver contains blood, and the blood circulation will directly affect the function of the heart, and the liver is concentrated on the nails. Generally speaking, people with white crescents are full of heart and qi, and blood circulation is relatively smooth; white crescents are relatively small or not at all, and the heart is weaker, and the blood circulation may not be very good. The liver resuscitates the eyes, the main tendons, and its flowers are in the claws. It shows that the prosperity and decline of liver blood can affect the degeneration of the claws.
