How to choose a satisfactory compass

Compass is an indispensable tool for feng shui masters. Although the focus of each school is different and the types of compass required are also different, in general, the following aspects should be paid attention to when choosing a compass:

1. The Tianchi magnetic needle and the Tianchi red line should be straight, with one end pointing to 0 degrees and one end to 180 degrees.

2. Cross Tianxin. The crosshairs correspond to 0 degrees, 90 degrees, 180 degrees, and 270 degrees respectively, and there must be no deviation.

3. The inner disk rotates flexibly, but not too loose, and the writing on the disk is clear.

4. The outer plate is square with smooth edges.
